National Land Reforms Council
The role of the National Land Reforms Council is to implement the changes to land reforms suggested by the National Land Reforms Committee. It acts as a supporting body whose function is to ensure that the policy changes suggested by the National Land Reforms Committee are implemented at the state level in a manner that respects the principles of social equity, empowerment and inclusion. The Council is chaired by the Prime Minister and includes seven government ministers, ten Chief Ministers from different states and eight land experts and members of social organizations. Ekta Parishad president PV Rajagopal is a member of the Council.
